Turikumwe: The Year at a Glance

I must also commend the dedication and resilience of all UN staff in a year of profound challenges who have played their part to contribute to make this year’s achievements possible. From advancing inclusive economic growth and climate action to strengthening health, governance, and peace initiatives, our collective efforts as the UN in Rwanda under the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (CF, 2025–2029) have translated high-level priorities into tangible impact in communities across Rwanda, supporting the realisation of Rwanda's development priorities as stipulated in the National Strategy for Transformation (NST2). 

This newsletter: “Turikumwe: The Year at a Glance” offers you a curated window into the UN’s work in 2025. Here, you will discover stories of Economic Transformation, Social Transformation, and Transformational Governance that illustrate how partnerships, innovation, and commitment are driving real change on the ground. Each story highlights not only progress in numbers, but also the real-life impact on communities, farmers, students, and families across the country.  It is through this partnership that Rwanda and the UN Delivering as One that enables us to transform policy into real change, empowering citizens and leaving no one behind.
